August 10th on the Farm

From Our Farm to Your Kitchen

Full Shareholders receive eight picks total and half shareholders receive four. Orchard Shareholders receive 1/2 Peck peaches or a full peck of apples. Each week the offering will be different- but everything will always be freshly harvested just for you. Some items might have limited quantities. This week members choose from the following:

Potatoes
Onions
Garlic
Cucumber
Squash
Beans
Tomatoes
Peppers
Cherry Tomatoes
Eggplant

Vegetable Spotlight: Peppers

Peppers and onions is always a crowd-pleasing recipe. It is a dish that is so easy to customize for all diets and preferences. Coming from a family with one vegetarian, one “bird-only” eater, and one red meat lover- this was a go-to! To ensure everyone is satisfied simply make the peppers and onions following the recipe and have the protein available as an add-in. Or my favorite- throw the peppers and onions onto a sandwich bun with some provolone! No matter how you eat it – I promise it’s delicious.

This Week On the Farm

Hello Everyone!

We have been working so hard on the upcoming festival.  Our team has been making the farm look it’s very best by mowing, trimming, weeding, ect.   They’re doing such a great job.  We are finalizing all plans for our Petting Zoo, Reptile Show, and other great vendors.  Don’t miss out on this event!
