Pick- Your- Own

This Saturday October 19th is the last weekend for pick- your- own apples and Dahlias.

We are coming to the end of harvest season we currently have Fuji and Golden Delicious that are ripe and ready to pick.

In the next coming weeks we will have our last two varieties of apples to pick Granny Smith and Pink Ladies.

Farm News

This week the farmers have pulled out all the tomatoes plants and some pepper plant in preparation for the winter.

This week the farmers graded apples that were picked during a community pick from last weekend.

By using the grader it sorts the apples by size, then we look through the apples.

We pick out the bad ones that which can be bruised or rotten and with the good apples we box them and get them ready to donate to the local food banks.
